Part-Time Home Health & Adult Day HealthCare Nurse Position Available
This position provides part-time (ranging from 8-24 hours per week) RN support to NCCOA’s Home Health and Adult Day HealthCare departments.
In conjunction with the Home Health Manager, the Home Health & Adult Day HealthCare (ADHC) Nurse (The RN) provides nursing supervision for home health clients and staff, conducts timely, in-home client intake and/or recertification assessments, and provides training oversight to Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides.
In conjunction with the ADHC Manager, responsibilities also include overseeing and facilitating a welcoming, nurturing, stimulating and enjoyable daily program of therapeutic activities as well as staff assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for seniors with chronic illness, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive deficits.
