Legacy Membership
Providing future support for NCCOA ensures the long-term sustainability of the organization and its ability to continue to serve our community’s seniors. Individuals who make a provision through their will or trust, life income plan or other planned gift will be included as Legacy Members of The Leadership Circle. The minimum value for this type of gift is $10,000.

Our Mission
NCCOA’s mission is to enhance the lives of older adults through services and compassionate care designed to improve the health, independence and economic security of all Nassau County seniors and their families.
Seniors Living Happy, Healthy Lives
NCCOA is the only organization in Nassau County with a targeted focus on seniors. Programs and services related to our mission include the following:

- Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals to homebound seniors at risk of malnourishment. We also provide congregate meals at our Senior Life Centers, as well as social opportunities.
- Home Health aides travel throughout Nassau County providing in-home services, such as bathing, personal care, meal preparation, errands, escorted doctor visits and caregiver respite to vulnerable seniors in our community.
- The Club is our on-site adult day healthcare program providing therapeutic activities for seniors who need assistance and respite for the caregiver.
- NassauTRANSIT offers the only mode of public transportation in Nassau County, with door-to-door service for medical appointments, senior centers, shopping, dialysis, etc., in wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
- The CHORE program makes small home repairs for seniors so they can live safely and age in place in their own homes.
- Other programs related to education, advocacy, referrals, counseling and social services that enhance the quality of life for all seniors.
